Weekly operations checklist · free Six checks, once a week, by hand.
Print a stack. Every Friday, before you leave, fill one in — six quick checks on follow-up, paperwork, invoicing, and collections. About four minutes, no software.
This is a recording habit, not an audit. But a month of these sheets answers most of what a consultant would ask first — and it is the trend, not any single Friday, that tells you where to look. Free, no email, yours.
or save it as a PDF from the same dialog.
The sheet
US Letter. Ruled. Yours.
Press print — the page comes out as just the sheet, nothing else. Print ten and pin them where the coffee is.

Why these six
One check per place money leaves.
01 · Inquiry
New inquiries this week
The week’s demand, and the share that died before anyone replied. The second number is the one nobody writes down anywhere else.
02 · Quote
Quotes due for a follow-up this week
A quote with no second touch is a price, not a pursuit. Two matching numbers here mean follow-up is real; a widening gap is the leak.
03 · Scope
Work done beyond the original scope
“Just add it, we’ll square up later” — this line is where later actually happens. Work nobody wrote down bills nobody.
04 · Invoice
Jobs ready to invoice by Friday
Every finished job without an invoice is money waiting on paperwork — the only part of the cash gap that is entirely yours to close.
05 · Cash
Invoices that came due this week
Not revenue — cash, and the same week’s invoices on both blanks. The gap between the two is what rolls into next week.
06 · Numbers
The oldest past-due invoice
One number instead of an aging report. When it grows week over week, collections has stopped being a process and become a hope.
The six checks follow the same chain the whole site is built on — inquiry to quote to delivery to invoice to cash. The Revenue Review reads a year of that chain from your systems; the ledger keeps a hand on it every week, with or without us.
Four Fridays in, if two of the six lines keep telling the same story, the 20-minute call is where we read them with you — or take the sheet to anyone. It works without us.
